1001 Garden Plants in Singapore
The ‘1001 Garden Plants in Singapore: A New Compendium’ is the latest edition of one of the most popular gardening resources in Singapore.
An essential guide for those in the landscape and horticulture sectors and hobbyist gardeners alike, the latest edition consists of three volumes and features over 2,700 plants found in our city-state.
The compendium highlights the large diversity of native plants in our forests, as well as ornamental plants that have been introduced into the gardening community over the years. Each volume consists of plant entries, which include photographs, scientific and common names, family names, relevant synonyms, and the geographical origins of the plant, where applicable. Plant care requirements, characteristics, uses, and forms are labelled using pictorial symbols. This edition also features new dedicated chapters on orchids and freshwater plants, including aquarium plants.
