Grow and Share highlights of 2025

Explore the vibrant Grow and Share activities that brought communities together across Singapore in 2025! Woodlands Nurture Nature: World Earth Day 2025

Three CIB gardening groups (Blossom Cottage, Spring Cottage and Garden of Bees and Bloom) came together to run a gardening booth at the Woodlands Nurture Nature: World Earth Day 2025 celebrations.

Engaging over 500 residents, the group shared gardening tips on growing edibles and harvests with participants that visited the booth.

Sengkang Eco Fest 2025

Compassvale Gardens, Compassvale Plains, Compassvale Haven and Compassvale Villa joined forces to engage over 100 residents about gardening-related activities in celebration of SG60.

Gardeners conducted a kokedama workshop, displayed their garden harvests to participants and designed a SG60 photobooth using plant materials for photo taking, showcasing to the community the multi-faceted aspects of gardening!

Garden Crafts at The Giving Garden @ Kim Tian West

As part of preparation works for the expansion of The Giving Garden @ Kim Tian West, TGG and nearby partners came together to conduct various garden crafts like painting of the garden space to bring colour to the carpark ramp. This joyful and heartfelt creation is a collective effort by community residents, gardening volunteers, and their families and friends.

People of all ages came to help – students from Zhangde Primary School and SOTA all joined in fun and created beautiful memories together. A wonderful example of incorporating arts into the garden!

Good Morning Healthier You!

Combining both benefits of exercise and in green spaces and gardening, participants gathered at Chua Chu Kang Park for a morning workout session followed by a tour of the community garden. Along with vegetable harvesting and distribution, it was a fun-filled morning of working towards a healthier Singapore!

Cooking with Herbs

Woodlands Botanical Garden hosted an engaging BioBlitz session where participants learnt how to use the iNaturalist app to observe and record the biodiversity around them. Rounding off the session was an informative talk on cooking with herbs, inspiring participants to explore the culinary potential of the plants they grow.
